Mikrokosmos

My university project, Microcosm, deals with the healing power of what are colloquially known as weeds. I have created a kind of small world in which I have staged the wild herbs under water. I play with the three components water, air and light (sun) because these represent life and health and are necessary for both organisms, humans and plants, to survive. I chose this topic because I think it is a shame that the knowledge of the healing power of herbs seems to have been lost to most people, as they no longer fight the cause of their illness, but only suppress their symptoms with pharmaceuticals. For this reason, I see a need to bring the old knowledge of the healing power of herbs back to life.
