My name is Niklas Rubba, and I specialize in capturing the worlds of fashion and portraiture, whether that’s in the controlled energy of a studio or out in the wild beauty of nature and urban landscapes. My work is exclusively digital, shot in vibrant color or moody black-and-white, always tailored to tell your unique story.

Photography isn’t just a job for me, it’s a partnership. Having spent time on both sides of the camera, I understand what it feels like to be in the spotlight. This allows me to create an atmosphere where my clients feel completely at ease, resulting in images that are authentic, bold, and deeply personal.

When I’m not behind the lens, you can find me on my yoga mat, practicing martial arts, lifting weights, or hanging out with my two cats, Parvati and Mr. Peluche.

My journey with photography started early, think kindergarten field trips armed with disposable cameras. Even then, I was captivated by how a lens could freeze a moment and reflect the way I saw the world.

But it wasn’t until I found myself in the trenches of a civil engineering degree, buried in equations and formulas, that I realized how much I craved creativity and connection. Photography had always come naturally to me. It was a spark I couldn’t ignore. So, I sold my beloved motorcycle, bought my first DSLR, and made the leap.

From mastering the interplay of shutter speed, aperture, and ISO to earning my degree in photography from the University of Applied Sciences Bielefeld in 2024, I’ve honed my craft with one goal in mind: to create images that inspire.
